Sorry for the 9 months of abandonment, my followers. The last six months have been pretty crazy for me, and I’ve been meaning to post something. Back in September, I suffered a seizure and 24 hours of blacking out. I ended up with scratches, black eye, bruised arm and a night in the hospital. I ended up staying with my parents for a month, to get back my stamina and to monitor my activity. I met with a Neurosurgeon the following week, he ordered an MRI along with an EEG. The EEG came back with information showing where I could easily lock into a seizure, and the MRI showing what exactly is causing it. I’m now taking Keppra, twice a day and it’s been a success. No seizures yet, and hoping none surface. So I’m happy to say, things are back on track. I’ll say this much, Epilepsy is NOT keeping me from doing the things I enjoy! I just have to be careful about what I’m doing and what kind of environment that I’m in. Sure I can never drink alcohol again, but that’s fine. I was lucky to drink one beer every 6 months, so it’s not a problem.

Been a while since I’ve posted on here, and hard to imagine this blog has been around for almost a year. Damn near forgot my login information on here, as I swapped laptops with my parents. Not sure if I’ll continue to run this blog, have to wait and see I guess. I thought about starting a sports blog, but not sure if it’s worth messing with. Not to mention, I can’t even keep up with this one. lol
Trying to break myself of staying up late, needless to say there’s room for improvement.

It’s that time again, my friends… gotta turn the clocks ahead one hour on Sunday night. Yes, we lose an hour of sleep… but that’s Ok with me. I love having more daylight, it gives you time to catch up on things.
I’ve been considering moving my site and blog over to Squarespace, but not 100% sure yet. This website is on a monthly renewal, at $10//month. The account I’d want at Squarespace is around $14/month.So yeah, not sure if I want to pay more or not.
The Cavaliers play the Celtics tonight, hoping Cleveland pull off the big win!

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams engaged, this fucking sucks! I don’t like Ryan, he’s a bastard and you know he will treat Mandy like shit. I just hope Mandy sees this dick head for who he is and leaves his cocky ass before the wedding day. I’ve heard from several female friends that he’s this biggest asshole out there. He thinks that he’s all that and then some, best thing since sliced bread.
Mandy, Mandy, Mandy… darling, what are you thinking? What do you see in this guy? He’s no good! Am I being selfish or bitter? Absolutely not! I’ve heard how he acts to people, from people who used to be a fan. It was that shit that turned them off and stopped listening to his music.
Yeah, my heart is now broken into a million pieces.

Can you just tell, that I’m excited? I’m not ready for this, to be 100% honest. All of the snow we had from before, was almost melted. So yeah, looks like today will be interesting. Makes me wonder if the kids will get a snow day tomorrow, guess we’ll have to wait and see.

It’s petty crazy how cold it’s been, yesterday we had a high of -5 or something like that. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 36, but calling for snow. I say we just skip the rest of winter and move onto spring.
My guitar arrived a couple days ago, man is it beautiful! I do need to buy some lighter strings, though. The ones that came with it are pretty heavy for someone that hasn’t played in a while. I may go with light strings and see how that works out, I’m afraid extra light will snap too easy. Unless I can find a bundle of each kind, I can’t afford to buy more than one pack at the moment.
I tried using the DVD to learn to play, I don’t know if it’s me… or if it goes too quick. I’m thinking about looking for another DVD. I found a site yesterday that had all of the notes available for printing out. I’m going to play around with that for a few days and see how well it goes. I did run across a couple other sites, but they were confusing… I’ll pass.

So, what did I do for NYE? I went to bed around 10:30 and woke up around 7:30. I just didn’t have it in me to stay up late, like I normally do. Not to mention, I’m not a big drinker like I used to be. One or two beers is about my limit anymore. I just don’t feel the need to get hammered and make an ass of myself. I’ve made a list of things I’d like to do this year, thought I would share them with everyone.
* Go camping with my parents
* Go fishing with my Dad
* Work on losing this weight
* Make it to at least one Miranda Lambert concert
* Spend more time with my family
* Eat healthier
* Drink more Iced Tea
* Work on finding a girlfriend
* Consider starting a Podcast
* Work on blogging more
* Rent a Limo and just go out for the night
* Start working out more
* Go on a date with Mandy Moore (Yeah, right! lol)
* Organize my music, so it’s easier to find stuff.
